The ambition of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from many different disciplines to share ideas and methods on current multimedia/multimodal content analysis research in sports.

LINHAC is Europe's only conference on ice hockey analytics. It is also the only 3-day event on this topic world-wide. LINHAC aims to bring together professionals and academics with an interest in hockey analytics. LINHAC features the latest research in hockey analytics in academia and companies, panel discussions with analysts, coaches, GMs and players, industry sessions with the latest hockey analytics products, and an analytics competition for students. LINHAC is organized by Linköping University and Linköping Hockey Club. All editions have been held in cooperation with the Alliance of European Hockey Clubs and the City of Linköping. Support has been provided by the Swedish Research Council for Sport Science.

The International Journal of Computer Science in Sport (IJCSS) is published in association with the International Association of Computer Science in Sport (IACSS). It is a refereed electronic journal that is published biannually. Research results with an emphasis on the following topics regarding the application of Computer Science and Mathematics in supporting the development of theory and practice in sport are considered: modeling (mathematical, informatics, biomechanical, physiological), computer aided applications (software, hardware), data acquisition and processing, databases, simulation (interactive, animation etc.), development of theories, multimedia / internet, presentation, and education. The journal does not only serve as a forum for current research from around the world in the field of computer technology in sport. Moreover, there is place to present theories, methods and concepts, which are developed in Computer Science and Mathematics, and applied to Sport Science.

The Journal of Quantitative Analysis in Sports (JQAS), an official journal of the American Statistical Association, publishes timely, high-quality peer-reviewed research on the quantitative aspects of professional and amateur sports, including collegiate and Olympic competition. The scope of application reflects the increasing demand for novel methods to analyze and understand data in the growing field of sports analytics. Articles come from a wide variety of sports and diverse perspectives, and address topics such as game outcome models, measurement and evaluation of player performance, tournament structure, analysis of rules and adjudication, within-game strategy, analysis of sporting technologies, and player and team ranking methods. JQAS seeks to publish manuscripts that demonstrate original ways of approaching problems, develop cutting edge methods, and apply innovative thinking to solve difficult challenges in sports contexts. JQAS brings together researchers from various disciplines, including statistics, operations research, machine learning, scientific computing, econometrics, and sports management.

The Journal of Sports Analytics (JSA) is a research journal that aims to be the central forum for the discussion of practical applications of sports analytics research, serving team owners, general managers, coaches, fans, and academics. They invite analytical research on any single sport or across sports or esports that seeks to improve our understanding of the game or strategies for improving a team or a league.

The International Journal of Forecasting publishes high quality refereed papers covering all aspects of forecasting. The annual ACM SIGKDD conference is the premier international forum for data mining researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to share their ideas, research results and experiences. Sports analytics papers are regularly presented in the applied data science track.

Machine Learning is an international forum for research on computational approaches to learning. The journal publishes articles reporting substantive results on a wide range of learning methods applied to a variety of learning problems.

The European Journal of Sport Science (EJSS) is an Open Access journal and the official journal of the European College of Sport Science. EJSS shares the College’s multi-disciplinary aims, publishing on topics of contemporary, worldwide importance across the sub-disciplines of: Applied Sport Science; Biomechanics and Motor Control; Physiology and Nutrition; Psychology, Social Sciences and Humanities; and Sport and Exercise Medicine and Health.

The International Journal of Performance Analysis in Sport is published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the Centre for Performance Analysis, Cardiff School of Sport at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and in association with the International Society of Performance Analysis in Sport (ISPAS), ISPAS-Asia and the Spanish Association of Sports Performance Analysis (SASPA). The emphasis is on the analysis of actual performance in sport and exercise. Studies using observational methods, biomechanical analysis, self-report emanating from actual sports performance, qualitative observation and measurements such as heart rate response during actual sports performance are all within the scope of the journal. Laboratory studies of key techniques within sports are also of interest where such techniques are clearly important and cannot be analysed in detail during actual competition. Such techniques include tennis serves and golf swings. There may be other contributions that do not analyse sports performance at all that are within the scope of the journal. For example, interview studies or meta-analyses may lead to theoretical contributions explaining the nature of sports performance, tactics used and factors influencing performance. The journal requires original research studies, so review articles are not considered. Contributors wishing to clarify whether papers they are writing are within the scope of the journal are welcome to contact the general editor.

The International Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance (IJSPP) focuses on sport physiology and performance and is dedicated to advancing the knowledge of sport and exercise physiologists, sport-performance researchers, and other sport scientists. The journal publishes authoritative peer-reviewed research in sport physiology and related disciplines, with an emphasis on work having direct practical applications in enhancing sport performance. IJSPP publishes monthly.

The International Journal of Sports Science & Coaching is a peer-reviewed, international, academic/professional journal, which aims to bridge the gap between coaching and sports science. The journal will integrate theory and practice in sports science, promote critical reflection of coaching practice, and evaluate commonly accepted beliefs about coaching effectiveness and performance enhancement. Open learning systems will be promoted in which: (a) sports science is made accessible to coaches, translating knowledge into working practice; and (b) the challenges faced by coaches are communicated to sports scientists. The vision of the journal is to support the development of a community in which: (i) sports scientists and coaches respect and learn from each other as they assist athletes to acquire skills by training safely and effectively, thereby enhancing their performance, maximizing their enjoyment of the sporting experience and facilitating character development; and (ii) scientific research is embraced in the quest to uncover, understand and develop the processes involved in sports coaching and elite performance.

The Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport is the official journal of Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) and is an an international refereed research publication covering all aspects of sport science and medicine. The Journal considers for publication Original research and Review papers in the sub-disciplines relating generally to the broad sports medicine and sports science fields: sports medicine, sports injury (including injury epidemiology and injury prevention), physiotherapy, podiatry, physical activity and health, sports science, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control and learning, sport and exercise psychology, sports nutrition, public health (as relevant to sport and exercise), and rehabilitation and injury management. Manuscripts with an interdisciplinary perspective with specific applications to sport and exercise and its interaction with health will also be considered.

The Journal of Sports Sciences has an international reputation for publishing articles of a high standard and is both Medline and Clarivate Analytics-listed. It publishes research on various aspects of the sports and exercise sciences, including anatomy, biochemistry, biomechanics, performance analysis, physiology, psychology, sports medicine and health, as well as coaching and talent identification, kinanthropometry and other interdisciplinary perspectives.

Science and Medicine in Football is a quarterly international, peer-reviewed journal. The mission of the publication is to advance the theoretical knowledge, methodological approaches and the professional practice associated with the sport of football. The journal aims to publish meaningful articles on various aspects of sports medicine and science related to all codes of football.
