Prolog++

Logic Programming Associates Ltd. announces a new version of Prolog++, v2.0, its powerful object-oriented applications development tool. Prolog++ is a complete OOP language featuring static and dynamic objects with attributes, functions and methods, complete message-passing, multiple inheritance and all the power of Prolog.

Key features of Prolog++ v2.0 include:

aggregation through 'part-of' hierarchies; explicit support for classes and meta-objects; support for private and public attributes.

The Prolog++ development environment uses a 32-bit architecture, incremental compilation, a source-level symbolic debugger, a structured object browser, a graphical hierarchy inspector and an object optimiser.

Prolog++ is available on Windows, Macintosh and DOS platforms and is available in two editions - the Programmer Edition, US$995, includes all the built-in predicates, development environment, debugger, documentation, and external language interfaces, whilst the Developer Edition, US$1,995, also includes a run-time generator for producing stand-alone applications. LPA will initially be bundling in the recently published book, 'Prolog++: The Power of Object-Oriented and Logic Programming' by Chris Moss and published by Addison-Wesley.
