Free Subscriptions to SIGMOD Record

For sometime, SIGMOD has been offering free subscriptions of the SIGMOD record to third world and Eastern European university libraries. The SIGMOD record is a quarterly publication with the June issue consisting of the SIGMOD conference proceedings.

To apply, a representative of the university should send a letter on the university letterhead, with the name of the person to whom the subscription should be sent. The requests should be sent to:

An archive of the SIGMOD record is available on-line by anonymous FTP in:
ftp://segev.lbl.gov

That does not however include the proceedings of the SIGMOD conference. In addition, the SIGMOD record, as well as other information of interest to the database community, is accessible through the internet browser Mosaic.
