JIPL: Java interface for Prolog

Appeared in Volume 10/2, May 1997

A Java enabled Prolog is available from:
http://Prolog.isac.co.jp/jipl/index_e.html

The source code for both the Java and native interface portions are included. Improvements since the previous version:

• Accessing fields of Java objects
• Propogating Java exception to Prolog
• New entry point to background Prolog thread
• Conversion between Java String and EUCJIS/SJIS kanji code

JIPL is free to use for research/evaluation purposes.
