ARGO Prolog

ARGO Prolog is a fast emulator-based Prolog, developed for the "ARGO" machine-translation system which contains more than 120,000 lines of Prolog source code. Despite its limited original purpose, ARGO Prolog supports most standard Prolog features.

The first target machine was the Sun4, but the system is portable because it is written in C. We have confirmed that it can run on the Sun4 (Solaris 1.x) and the HP (HP-UX 9.x).
