SymbMath

Appeared in Volume 9/1, February 1996

SymbMath (an abbreviation for Symbolic Mathematics) is a symbolic calculator that can solve symbolic math problems. It can also be used as a computer algebra system, expert system, programming language and database.

It runs on IBM PCs (8086) with 400 KB free memory under MS-DOS.

Three versions (ShareWare, Student, and Advanced) are available from the author.

You should unzip the files like so:
pkunzip -d sm33a c:\symbmath
