“De beste kans van een gouden generatie om te schitteren.” Zo kopt de FIFA op hun officiële website. Sterspelers Eden Hazard en Kevin De Bruyne zitten op de top van hun kunnen en België wordt dan ook door velen als een belangrijke outsider beschouwd. Maar maken de Rode Duivels echt kans om het kampioenschap te winnen? Wij simuleerden het verloop van het toernooi om die vraag te beantwoorden.

"The promise of big data is that we do what we’ve been doing all along – profiling – but make it better, less discriminatory, and more individualized. That sounds acceptable if the aim is simply to prevent unwanted actions. But it becomes very dangerous if we use big-data predictions to decide whether somebody is culpable and ought to be punished for behaviour that has not yet happened."
