Welcome!
SMiLee is the yearly internal workshop of the Machine Learning group of KU Leuven. It aims at bringing together several subgroups as well as its alumni in an informal and stimulating atmosphere, where they can report on interesting recent research results, share their vision on future developments, have stimulating discussions with peers, and start new collaborations. Following a fine tradition, we have chosen an easily accessible location in the picturesque village of Berg en Terblijt, in the hills of southern Limburg, just outside Maastricht in the Netherlands.
Practical Information
SMiLee 2013 will be in held in Hampshire Hotel Vue des Montagnes, Berg en Terblijt (Maastricht) on June 5th and 6th 2013.How to get there
- by car: driving directions or Google maps directions
- by train: the hotel is at 1 km from the train station Houthem-St Gerlach. To reach Houthem-St Gerlach it takes ~1h30-2h from Leuven, ~1h from Aachen, ~2h30-3h from Bonn, and ~3h from Schiphol (Amsterdam).
- by plane: the hotel is a 15 minute taxi drive from Maastricht Airport
- there will also be a bus leaving on Wednesday June, 5th from the Department of Computer Science, KU Leuven (Heverlee Campus), at approximately 8:00h. However, the bus only returns to Leuven on Friday June 7th, after the colocated event WOG has ended.
