This network, supported by FWO-Vlaanderen involves also the research groups "Databases" of UIA, "Theoretische Informatica" of LUC, and "Electronica en Informatiesystemen" of RUG. The purpose of the network is to foster the cooperation between the different groups with an interest in the use of declarative methods and to maintain the high quality of their research. The network has also partners outside Flanders: UCL, Namur, Bristol, Melbourne, York, INRIA-Le Chesnay, Indiana University, Royal Holloway-University of London.
