Registration

Registration for the 2009 ASP competition is now open.

To register for the competition, send an email to aspcompetition specifying

the name of your team
names and affiliation of the participants (institution,research group)
a brief description of the system (e.g. the language and the underlying technologies used)
in attachment: a file with a public ssh key

In return, you will receive an email with a user account name and a server code using which you will be able to login and install your systems and benchmark solutions on a test machine. The test machine is a Linux (Kubuntu) system with 4GB RAM: more detailed specifications are available here.

The public ssh-key will be used to give you access to one of the user accounts on one of the servers.

Here is a webpage with instructions for generating generating a pair of private and public ssh keys.
To give access to multiple users with different keys, please add additional public keys to the file .ssh/authorized_keys on your user account on the ASP-competition system.
Or create a joint public/private key pair for all your team-members.
